Bangkok / graduation trip with classmates from 19 feb 09 - 23 feb 09

19 feb, thurs
10am
- prepared and waited for Jo's dad to swing by
11am
- reached the budgeted airport early and happy to discover that the rest were even earlier! so were we late?
- then somehow everybody spied on each other's bag/luggage to discover that i brought the biggest lugguage to move/bring thailand back. lollers.
- checked in my lugguage at 7.1kg. cool shit.
1245-210pm
- bkk: hired van to and fro airport at 2400baht for 8 heads.
3-4 plus
- check into palazzo hotel at 8000baht for 4nights. rommies with jo and jan.
5-7plus
- then we were off to huai kwang to mbk eat as we were famished. had macs as first meal. lol.
7-9plus
- then to do our hair! 7/8 of us did a mini hair makeover with the benifit of using the internet as we had our hair done. cool place.
reborn- jes, jan, dom.
highlight - jan, dom, kavee, me
dye - jo and di
as you would know it now. i pointed to a poster and got a mushroom hair. and made friend who gave me mushroom hair.
dilys said anyhow make friends. lol.
9pm plus
- took tutu to patpong. alot of people were talking about ping pong show when there is no tables or tennis balls in sight???
- bought sunglass and had street noodles. met cal and jo and went back to palazzo. saw couple fighting, car crash and police chase. that's mild drama on first night.
- went to 7-11 to buy stuff and with janice met random friend 2 from england.

20 feb, fri
morning - had first palazzo breakfast and met random friend 2.
afternoon to evening - when to platium and shopped till we dropped.
bought at least 6 tops, 3 bottoms and shoes for myself and shirt and skirt for dad and mom repectively.
bargain bargain were words in our head and "cheap cheap we are friends we will come back " were words out from our mouths.
went for mass group dinner at central mall and chanced upon a live band and flea market.
shopoholics went to do their thing again as the rest of us relax at the corner, took pictures with our sunglasses and listened to the band.
night - head to khao san-backpackers treat but i keep thinging travellers delight. idk why.
red bull jerseys and slippers and noisy clubs/bars.happening night life unlike sg.
went back to bathe and prepare to rest just as the rest came back and said it was time to club.
so from braless we went changed and ready for a sleepless night.
cab driver is an old uncle who brought us to boss another old uncle club with lots of dirty horny old man peepeing under trannie's skirt and caressing her legs all over. took alot of pictures that you should checkout at facebook because there was funny angpoh dancing alone as he peed in his pants. also bought popcorn for 80 baht with occasional hair strands. zomg yucks.
ate it anyway, was hungry. no. not the hair.
went back and dom was MOST sober among us. he knew i was trying hard to convince him to keep quiet for ky to rest as apparently ky was BELIEVED to be drunk.
got cup noodles and prinkles as i was really hungry.

21 feb, sat.
missed breakfast. so sad.
hungry and tired but nevertheless shopping must go on.
had 2 hotdogs from 7-11.
when to chatuchak.
had my own cartoon drawn.
spend money on something that does not look like me.
and the coconut drink was paradise! hmmmmmmmm.
bought bag. just buy. don't think so much, later regret not buying cause its cheap.
got another cool ass sunglass which people can't tell if i am loking at them.
peeps used my sunglass as mirror and for phototaking.
finally found earlobe ring studds.
saw flats. so just buy again. 2 pairs. lols.
then we went to eat fastfood for dinner again. too hungry to be picky.
walked around area to digest so we can go for massage.
bought cheap lingerie with janice while jo and jess did their nails and dom was comtemplating on THAT leather jacket.
to lemongrass. very amused with thai massage. one hour for 350baht.
enjoy only, went back and slept like a log.

22 feb sun.
sleepy during breakfast.
went to chatuchak again.
bought some cute stuff and nice teacup polos.
more singlets for jan, small jo and me.
too tired. so i went back first to rest.
bought hotdog and checked out uob atm over there.
then i went to meet joanne for dinner when jo and jan came back.
we went to eat steamboast shushi. yum yum. cheap and filling and free flow.
then met them and to RCA. its a sunday and some of them were not 20 by date so it was kinda boring.
some went back and some proceeded to patpong.
okay. this is the adventure.
cab driver was clueless.
police was ruthless.
we were helpless.
bye money bye.
arrived at twilos for a drink and enjoyed hiphop band while jes, big and di went to house area.
cal and smalljo went back later and the 4 of us decided to follow aimlessly to the tunnel.
they making more random friends and trying to chat or chase away strangers.
freaky scary dark place i tell you. its like UNDERGROUND.
then cab back and another shit ass adventure with useless cab driver and thoughtless police.
i was scared shitless.
shall learn the lesson.
went back and sleep away.

23 feb mon.
goodness. i'm finally at the last day.
to mbk to shop.
more mindless shopping.
clothes and accessories.
see. take. buy.
then went to meet jo cal ky dom and kavee for movie.
cheap popcorn and drinks but we were really running low on cash.
rushed back to hotel as cal and jo continued shopping.
its to airport and back to sg.
and then facebook uploads and updates.

it was a nice hoilday afterall=))

here is what happen at work these days...

9-10:30am: early bird gets the first sniff of the place, then i stroll in to turn on the air con and enter my virtual life...

10:30-11:30am : we greet the coming traffic "good morning/hello" and the main dj will start of the theme with dashes of old school rock/funk while i enter into a hide and seek adventure.

12:30-1:30pm: i will announce my lunch break and break free!

2-4pm: warm up over and people will start complaining, making weird noises, awkward laughters, more odd music will be played when dj changes and occasional drilling and banging will be heard.
people start walking in and out for smoke, toilet, meal, drink breaks.
sometime i will get fed when i am hungry. or risk hallucinating as a donkey.

4-6pm: either the biggies start strolling in or people will talk about the biggies strolling in. i will drink lots of water and be prepared to see them the next day. like peter pan.
